Nijmegen's RU/HAN team is looking for runners. After all, Nijmegen wants to do as well as possible and preferably even win at the University Competition!

The total running distance is over 175 kilometres and is divided into 25 stages (16 men's and 9 women's stages). Around 8,500 athletes take part every year, all of them students. As such, this largest relay race in the world is in the Guinness Book of Records!

The finish of the Batavierenrace will be followed by Europe's biggest student party on the University of Twente campus in Enschede. An estimated 13,000 students will go wild at various locations on campus!

The 52nd Batavierenrace will be held on 24 & 25 May 2024. So be sure to sign up for the RU/HAN team from Nijmegen!
