The 15th of October, the 61th daily board officially fully entered the board. They daily board consists of 5 persons, namely: Joost Jacobs (Chairman), Aldwin Ransijn (Secretary), Matthijs Paul (Treasurer), Sander Bouwmans (Commissioner PR & Sponsoring) and Nanne van Mil (Political Commissioner). They will introduce theirself below.

The 61th Daily Board of the NSSR:

Hi everyone,

I am Joost, a fourth year law student and a fourth year member of Phocas. In addition to (occasionally) rowing, coaching fanatically and some committee work, I spent my last year working on behalf of Nijmegen’s social student clubs as treasurer of the B.O.S..

Next year, as chairman of the NSSR, I intend to ensure that student sports in Nijmegen will be fully visible and available everywhere and able to keep growing. This way, everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the enormous range of sports we have here. Whether you want to exercise one, five or ten times a week!

Sporty regards,
Joost Jacobs – Chairman NSSR 2018-2019

Dear sport fanatics,

My name is Aldwin Ransijn and I am the Secretary of the 61st board of the NSSR. I will also (hopefully) graduate from the ALO (Teacher in Physical Education) this academic year. Besides talking a lot, I am a big sports fan. I am an active squash player at De Boosters and a goalkeeper at FC Kunde. Next to that I also started ice skating this year at Lacustris. I also have several part-time jobs and love camping and motorcycling.

As a future gym teacher, I want to convey my enthusiasm for sports and exercise to as many people as possible and pass on my passion for sports. I am looking forward to carry out this ambition also on behalf of the NSSR and to look after the interests of every (prospective) sports student as well as possible.

Despite the risk that I would want to join almost every sports club, I cannot wait to train at every SSV!

Sporty regards,
Aldwin Ransijn – Secretary NSSR 2018-2019

Hi everybody!

I am Matthijs Paul and If am the Treasurer of the 61th daily board of the NSSR. I am now a fourth year History student at the RU anda member of the student korfball club in Nijmegen: NSKV SkunK. In the three years that I am a member, I did committee work and last year I was also the secretary.

I have always had a lot of fun in the board work that I did, so it seemed like a good idea to take it a step further towards the NSSR.

Sporty regards,
Matthijs Paul – Treasurer NSSR 2018-2019

Hi everyone!

I am Sander Bouwmans and I will am the Commissioner PR & Sponsoring of the 61th daily board of the NSSR. I am 21 years old and I am currently in my bachelor Business Administration which I hope to finish this academic year. I already have a diverse range of sports under my belt, but I am very enthusiastic to try all kinds of different sports when training with all the SSVs.

Furthermore, I would like to express my affinity with sports through my position in the daily board, and I hope to get as many students in contact with the broad spectrum of sports Nijmegen has to offer. Most of all, I am very excited for this new challenge and I can’t wait to make an impact this year!

Sporty regards,
Sander Bouwmans – Commissioner PR & Sponsoring NSSR 2018-2019

Hi everybody!

I am Nanne van Mil, twenty years old and I have the position of Political Commissioner in the 61th board of the NSSR. In line with my predecessors, I am currently studying political science and I hope to start a premaster economy next year. Just as I find it difficult to choose a study, I like to try out all sorts of different sports, but until now I have always focused mainly on dancing and tennis!

I think it’s an honor to be able to represent the sports interests next year at the USR, the HAN and the municipality. Let me know especially if there are specific things that we can do for you or your sports club!

Sporty regards,
Nanne van Mil – Political Commissioner NSSR 2018-2019
